Samar "Baby" Khalid Abushama

Project Coordinator
Samar is a 19-year-old Business management student at the University of Khartoum. She’s passionate about social change and development, with her focus being on gender issues, particularly violence against women and gender based violence. She’s channeling this passion through her now 1-year long position as a Projects Coordinator at AMNA, she finds the nature of the advocacy AMNA carries out as empowering to her as a Sudanese young woman, which is the main reason her drive to stay indulged in women issues advocacy remains intact. Despite being both a full-time student and a sleep-addict, Samar has the special talent of working over her heels and delivering tasks at all times!
